How a custom piece gets made

Most of what is on this site started as somebody's request. You do not need to arrive with the wording worked out.

  1. You tell us what it should say

    A word, a name, a date, or a whole phrase. If you are not sure yet, describe who it is for and what happened — that is enough to work from.

  2. We send you a mock-up

    Before anything is made, you get an image of your piece with your phrase in it, in the colors you picked. One mock-up and one revision, both free, within one business day.

  3. You approve it, or you change it

    Change the wording, the colors, the metal, or all three. Nothing is made until you say go. If we do not hear back within 24 hours we make it exactly as ordered.

  4. We make it

    Strung by hand in our studio in Franklin, Tennessee. Production time starts when you approve the mock-up, not when you order.

A custom phrase costs no more than any other. Same price, same materials, same box.
