Bonus Mom — Morse Code Bracelet
A note on the magnetic clasp
The magnetic option closes with a neodymium clasp — a rare-earth magnet, and a strong one. That strength is what lets it close one-handed. The American Heart Association advises keeping magnets at least six inches from the site where a cardiac device is implanted. If that applies to you or your recipient, please ask your cardiologist before wearing this piece.

Gold fill is not plating and it is not solid gold. A thick layer of 14k gold is pressure-bonded to a brass core, which is why it holds its color far longer than a plated piece.
Take it off for swimming, showering and the gym. Chlorine, salt water and sweat are what shorten the life of any gold fill or sterling piece.
Finding your size
Measure a bracelet you already own and like the fit of. If you don't have one, wrap a piece of string around your wrist, mark where it meets, and lay it flat against a ruler. A tape measure is hard to hold flat against a curve, and it is where most sizing mistakes start.
| Size | Adjusts between | Choose this if |
|---|---|---|
| X-Small | 5-6" | Your wrist measures under 6 inches |
| Standard | 6-7" | Your wrist measures 6 to 7 inches |
| Large | 7-8" | Your wrist measures 7 inches or more |
Every bracelet finishes with an extender chain, so it sits anywhere inside its range. Move the clasp along the links until it sits where you want it.
If your measurement lands on the edge between two sizes, take the larger one. At the top of a range there is no chain left to let out.
Your phrase
Choose any word, name, date or short phrase. We encode it in Morse, so only she can read it.
Dates are encoded as 8 17 21 — month, day, year, no leading zeros.
Description
Not a stepmother, and not a substitute. This says bonus mom in Morse code, spelled out in beads, for the woman who took the job without being handed the title. Everyone else just sees a bracelet.
How it reads
Each bead is a dot or a dash. Small spacer beads separate the letters and mark the word breaks, so the phrase is spelled out in full rather than suggested. We choose the dot and dash arrangement that gives you the most color. If you would rather have more metal than color, say so in the order notes and we will build it that way.
Materials
925 Sterling Silver or 14k Gold Fill, with Japanese Glass Seed Beads and Vintage Glass Beads.
14k Gold Fill is not plating. It is a bonded layer of 14k gold over a base metal core, and it is substantially thicker than plating, which is what makes the difference in how it holds up. Every finished piece comes with a hallmarked tag stating the purity of the metal used.
Clasp
Standard finishing is a spring ring. A lobster or magnetic clasp is available as an upgrade — choose it above before adding to your bag, and the price updates as you do.
Made by hand
Every piece is strung by hand in our studio in Franklin, Tennessee. Many of the glass beads are vintage, so slight variation between pieces is normal and part of how they are made.
How it arrives
Every order arrives in an embossed gift box with a microsuede pouch, a polishing cloth and care instructions. A gift note of up to 25 characters can be added at checkout. Multiple pieces ship in one box unless you ask for separate packaging in the order notes.
Making and shipping
Orders are made and shipped within 2 business days. Production runs longer through the holiday season; the current time is on our shipping policy. Transit time is in addition to production time.
Care
To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care. Simple maintenance practices, such as gentle washing and proper storage, can effectively preserve the longevity of your favorites. We encourage you to refer to the care instructions included with each item, designed to help you keep your purchase in top condition.
Design
Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.
